2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 17
For the 2021 November PAD Chapbook Challenge, poets are tasked with writing a poem a day in the month of November before assembling a chapbook manuscript in the month of December. Today’s prompt is to write an Object poem.
For today's prompt, write an object poem. Your poem could describe an object. For instance, I once wrote a poem describing a pencil. But if you're not into description, you can just mention an object in the poem.
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at an Object Poem:
“notebook”
i can't wait to fill you with words
& ideas & doodles & stuff
that to many might seem absurd
i can't wait to fill you with words
that i've spoken & that i've heard
in times that were possibly rough
& so i will fill you with words
& ideas & doodles & stuff
