2025 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 5
For the 2025 November PAD Chapbook Challenge, poets write a poem a day in the month of November. Day 5 is to write a description poem.
For today’s prompt, write a description poem. That is, find someone or something to describe in a poem. Could be a physical description, or a taste, or a smell. Perhaps an emotional or psychological description. Give this one a little thought and then describe it (in a poem, of course).
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them. If you have a wild idea, follow it.

Here’s my attempt at a Description Poem:
“Nondescript”
He said it was a tree,
but that meant naught to me,
because you must agree
there are trees and then trees
with or without their leaves,
and you must admit these
can change from tree to tree,
so do not be a tease,
and pretty, pretty please,
don't call a tree a tree
without descriptions please.
