2024 November PAD Chapbook Challenge: Day 8
For the 2024 November PAD Chapbook Challenge, poets are tasked with writing a poem a day in the month of November before assembling a chapbook manuscript in the month of December. Day 8 is to write a “Well (blank)” poem.
For today’s prompt, take the phrase "Well (blank)," replace the blank with a new word or phrase, make the new phrase the title of your poem, and then, write your poem. Possible titles might include: "Well That Didn't Go According to Plan," "Wells Are Made for Wishing," "Well and Good," "Well You Should've Said That," and/or a very simple "Well Then."
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at a Well Blank Poem:
“Well Enough,” by Robert Lee Brewer
I am the sort of person who
won't fix something if it ain't broke,
but I admit it's also true
I am the sort of person who
is ready for something to do
when there is a problem to poke,
though also, I am the sort who
won't fix something if it ain't broke.
(Note on the form: For people new to these challenges, the poetic form I used above is called a triolet. It's an 8-liner with a couple refrains. If you're interested in poetic forms, find more than 100 poetic forms here.)
