It's time for our fourth Two-for-Tuesday prompt of the month. Usually, four is all we get, but there will be a fifth this month. For today’s prompt:
- Write an unplug poem, and/or...
- Write a plug in poem.
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Play with poetic forms!
Poetic forms are fun poetic games, and this digital guide collects more than 100 poetic forms, including more established poetic forms (like sestinas and sonnets) and newer invented forms (like golden shovels and fibs).
Here’s my attempt at an Unplug and/or Plug In Poem:
i admit there are precious times
when i prefer to disappear
from my email & things online
i confess that these precious times
help me to completely unwind
until it's time to reappear
so i'll enjoy these precious times
as i quietly disappear
(Note on form: I bent the rules a bit, but this is a form I've used a few times this month called a triolet.)
