Vacation Season
Every writer needs a little inspiration once in a while. For today’s prompt, set your story at a vacation spot.
Here in Maryland, schools are getting ready to let out for summer vacation, and we're solidly in the 90s with high humidity. Even though my summer vacation days are long over, there's something about this time of year that still makes me excited, that bubbles memories of our yearly family trip to Cowans Gap State Park where we'd splash in the lake, struggle not to crash our bikes on root-ridden paths meant for hiking, and scorching marshmallows over the firepit.
For this week's prompt, set your story at a vacation spot.
