Change of Plans
Every writer needs a little inspiration once in a while. For today’s prompt, there’s been a sudden and unforeseen change of plans.
I live by my calendar—even though I've been spending the last few years training myself to be more spontaneous, to "go with the flow," I'm still one of those humans who has a really hard time switching up a game plan on the fly.
For this week's prompt, let's put your character in a situation where they have to adapt to a sudden and unforeseen change of plans. How will they react? What will be consequences be?
Post your response (500 words or fewer) in the comments below.
