Every writer needs a little inspiration once in a while. For today’s prompt, someone’s shown up demanding your narrator’s family heirloom.
For today's prompt, imagine that your narrator has been given a family heirloom from a relative they didn't really know. But then someone shows up on their doorstep demanding the object is turned over to them. What is it? Why do they need it? Will your character give it up?
