It's always cool to discover old issues of Writer's Digest featuring now-famous authors talking about their early years. It's even more exciting to find authors sharing their longtime love of WD—like this interview with "Peanuts" creator Charles M. Schulz (with a comic he created just for WD!).

This comic appeared in the 1965 Writer's Digest Yearbook.
Kirk Polking (who, though you may not have surmised from the name, was a woman) was the former longtime editor of Writer's Digest. Here, Schulz talks about his longstanding love affair with Yearbook, and how he dislikes the name "Peanuts."
