Good Samaritan or Simply Bystander?

Every writer needs a little inspiration once in a while. For today's prompt, your character witnesses something bad happening—will they intervene?

I recently saw a video on TikTok where a small film crew was shooting an argument between an actor and actress. Thinking it was a real altercation, a man walking by stepped in to defend the actress, only to have the cameras and mics pointed out to him.

For today's prompt, your character witnesses something bad happening, like an argument or a robbery in progress. Will they jump in and intervene? Or will they keep walking?

Post your response (500 words or fewer) in the comments below.
