Louise Fein

Author

Born in London and previously a lawyer and banker, Louise Fein has an MA in Creative Writing from St. Mary’s University. Her debut Daughter of the Reich (2020) was published in 13 countries and shortlisted for the RSL Christopher Bland Prize (2021). The Hidden Child (2021) was a Globe & Mail bestseller, and The London Bookshop Affair (2024) received critical acclaim. She is recognized for her finely crafted, character-driven historical narratives featuring often-overlooked women.  Equally passionate about historical research and writing, she loves to look for themes which have resonance with today’s world. Louise lives in the Surrey countryside with her family.
