Joy Peskin

Joy Peskin is the senior executive editor at Farrar, Straus & Giroux Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group. An award-winning essayist with work published in HuffPost, Salon, Glamour, Parents magazine, and Lilith magazine, she is also a CASA (court appointed special advocate) for youth in the foster care system. Joy has taught writing to incarcerated women, youth in the juvenile justice system, and young people experiencing homelessness.
