Jocelyn Jane Cox’s memoir, Motion Dazzle (Vine Leave Press, 9/30/25) is about becoming a mom, losing her mom, and throwing a zebra-themed first birthday party at her house while drawing the strengths she developed on the ice as a competitive figure skater. Among other publications, her work has appeared in The New York Times, Slate, Newsweek, Good Men Project, WIRED, Sugar Sugar Salt Lit, The Offing, The Linden Review, Cleaver, Litro Magazine and Colorado Review. Her fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She lives with her son and husband in the Hudson Valley of New York.
