Angela Shupe

Born and raised in Michigan, Angela Shupe received her Bachelor of Arts in English, cum laude from the University of Detroit. She is an award-winning author whose essays and short stories have been published in various journals and magazines. In the Light of the Sun is her debut novel and was a semi-finalist in the 2018 Faulkner-Wisdom Creative Writing Novel Competition. Angela Shupe is a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association and the Historical Novel Society. When not writing, she loves spending time with family, traveling, biking, baking all manner of things, and swimming and paddle boarding the beautiful, blue waters of Lake Michigan.
