Day 21: As you craft your novel, try fashioning your hero or heroine after a specific character archetype. This often helps provide direction in terms of how he or she might act or react to the twists and turns of the plot. It also helps you determine the most powerful and compelling motivations for your character. To find out which archetype your character most closely resembles, take these two quizzes from The Writer’s Guide to Characterization.
