Logan stared at her phone, the big black numbers reading ‘ 8:57 ‘. She gulped. It’s almost time. Her body began to shake and her hands started to sweat. She checked again, now it read ‘ 9:00 ‘. Brrinnngg! Her phone rang obnoxiously. She placed her finger on the answer option, and it fell silent.

She didn’t talk for a while. ” What do you want? ” She whispered quietly. ” I know what you did. ” Bzzzz. The other person hung up. It had been this way for two weeks now. Almost three.

She threw her phone onto her comforter, sighing deeply. She brought her hands up to her face, and lightly rubbed it. Standing up she heard a knock at the door. She quickly answered it only to see her empty driveway.

She knit her eyebrows together in confusion, until she looked down, to see fold up little, piece of paper. She picked it up and unraveled the mess. And it read. ‘ I know what you did. And you’re going to pay. ‘ ……

Cal puts her keys on the counter and took her heels off. She picked up her phone, and a bright 12:00 came up on the screen. Midnight. She sighed and headed to the bathroom, beyond ready for a warm shower. It was almost 1 o’clock when she finally settled down in bed. Welcoming her cool pillow and warm sheets, she was out in seconds.

She wakes up abruptly, startled by the sound of the phone ringing. Her clock flashed 9 o’clock in bright red letters. She let out an irritated sigh before picking up the phone.
“I know what you did.” Dial tone.
“Teenagers.” she says rolling her eyes. Unable to fall back asleep, she walks towards to bathroom to wash her face. She had plans to meet her friends at the mall in 2 hours.

She was awake, as she has been for the past week. Her hands shook with fear as she glanced at the clock, 8:59. She closed her eyes and took a breath. The phone rang. Her eyes shot open and she slowly reached over and picked up the phone.
    “I know what you did.”
She hung up the phone and burst out in tears. Its been almost two weeks, and everyday at exactly 9’o clock the phone rings. It’s always the same person and it’s always the same message, I know what you did. She heard something in the kitchen and jerked around, only to be hit with a brick.

Her head was pounding and her entire body was heavy she looked around at the room she was in. It was dark, damp, and gloomy. She stood up but couldn’t move, her hands and feet were tied with rope. Footsteps approached her and chill went up her spine when she heard it.
“I know what you did.” A gun cocked and shot her through the brain.

She shot up, startled and confused. Her body was shaking, she was sweating, and breathing heavy. Her head whipped around confirming her curtain, her bed, her carpet, her room. It was a dream. She laughed at herself and checked the clock, 8:58. She stood up and turned on the TV.
    The phone rang.
