Wednesday Poetry Prompts: 593
For today's prompt, take the phrase "Don't (Blank)," replace the blank with a word or phrase, make the new phrase the title of your poem, and then, write your poem. Possible titles include: "Don't Lie to Me," "Don't Leave Me Hanging," "Don't Forget to Call Your Mom," and/or "Don't Eat the Last Piece of Pie."
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at a Don't Blank Poem:
“don't say there will be no snow,” by Robert Lee Brewer
don't say there will be no snow
even if that may very well be.
let me dream of a cold, white flow
of silent snowflakes 'round me.
