Wednesday Poetry Prompts: 554
For today's prompt, write a future poem. Whether it's 10 minutes or 1,000 years, whether it's forward facing or actually set in the future, have fun with today's prompt. Did technology continue to accelerate? Did civilization crumble? Were scientists finally able to make ice cream a health food? Take a swing at a future poem today (or sometime in the future).
Remember: These prompts are springboards to creativity. Use them to expand your possibilities, not limit them.

Here’s my attempt at a Future Poem:
“Alls Clear”
Which will rise faster:
the robots or seas?
And spell disaster
for the bats and bees?
Will technology
prevail in the end?
Or will a new gene
evolve us again?
I admit I know
nothing; nothing's clear,
but wherever you go,
I know I'll be near.
