Arvind Ethan David

Arvind Ethan David is a British-Malaysian writer and producer whose work spans Broadway, West End theatre, television, audio drama, and graphic novels. He was a lead producer of the Tony and Grammy Award–winning musical Jagged Little Pill, and has written and produced extensively in television, including Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency (AMC/Netflix), Anansi Boys (Amazon), and the Asian Academy Award–winner The Garden of Evening Mists (HBO). In theatre, he has adapted Douglas Adams’s The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency for the stage, and received an Olivier nomination for his children’s musical The Boy With Wings. His seven graphic novels include the Bram Stoker Award–nominated Darkness Visible (with Mike Carey) and an adaptation of Raymond Chandler’s Trouble Is My Business. His audio work includes the hit Audible Original series Earworms. The Great Game is his debut prose novel.
