If I write a new article, how long should I wait before submitting it to the same editor? I don’t want to look unprofessional. Good is good, even if it comes in the next day, and bad is bad, even if the writer waits six months to submit. Editors care about good, not about time. And it’s sometimes weeks or months before an editor actually reads a piece you submit tomorrow. May 26, 2008 at 1:14 pm #464013 retireeParticipant Thank you! I didn’t want to look like I was bugging the editor to publish a peice of mine May 26, 2008 at 2:21 pm #464014 VameramiUrbamParticipant Unless the editor has a request like ‘Please wait 7 days after a rejection’, then you can submit right away.
