I was looking for some websites where people share ideas to inspire others and maybe discuss them. Unfortunately it’s hard to find something like I imagined so as a hobby programmer I have created such resource. It’s not specifically for writers but I can see how it can be useful sometimes to just look through it. Here’s a link: http://ideasalmanac.com

If you know other similar resources, this topic is probably a place to share it.

Not really a place for sharing inspiration but a great resource I’ve been using to actually do my writing is a free site called NovelEasy (https://noveleasy.com).

    Thanks for the link.

No catches so far that I can see. It’s really bare bones though but gets the job done and the only online editor I found that has chapters.

    Usually is some catch.
How/Why would they put up a free resource if they cant make money somehow?

Do they sell a ‘professional’ version?
Do you have to give up a lot of personal information ??

Or are they really just good guys and philanthropists?

In their terms of service, they mention some services which apparently have a cost if you choose to sign up for them, but that sort of thing isn’t unusual. Look at WD.

    Thanks.

    Did not see TOS.

That makes sense. Give a basic sample to sell the heavy duty version.

I saw that but yeah I think those are just extra features like you see on other sites. Haven’t been asked to pay anything yet and no ads. It’s just really nice to write on.
