I’ve heard a lot about writer’s block, but happily haven’t come across it yet, (but won’t hold my breath). I’ve found that a regular disciplined routine works best for me. Don’t start too early, be well fed, warm and rested, and then get started – every day, for five or six hours, no matter what. Without wishing to be in any way patronising, just write. “Just do it!” my best friend said to me, and it was excellent advice. Sooner or later something will come.
