Cindy, I empathize! I’m a bit of a car nut too. I attribute it to my dad, who would point out all the interesting cars whenever we were out, and Knight Rider. 🙂 I was 6 when that show started, and I so desperately wanted a KITT of my own! I finally bought a used 1995 Firebird in 1999 — white, and not a Trans Am, but still cool! I loved that car. Unfortunately, my budget didn’t. I ended up trading it in on a 2001 Nissan Sentra, which was a mistake in so many ways, but a lot easier on the family finances. My current vehicle is a 2007 Pontiac Montana SV6, fully loaded, in purple (my favourite colour), and I love it. Yes, it’s a minivan, but it’s perfect for my lifestyle right now and it’s got some kick when you need it. Not to mention a DVD player.

I’m waiting on tenterhooks for the new 2009 Chevy Camaro. I’ve just about got my hubby convinced that we could really use a sports car. Honest. And he could even drive it. Maybe. 🙂

Oh, the plates on my ‘Bird were TALIS1. Actually, they were from my previous car, a 1994 Chevy Cavalier (purple!). My dad got them for me when I bought the Cavalier, my first car — “Talis” is the nick I used on mIRC (anyone remember that???) and because plain old “Talis” was already taken, I got “TALIS1”.
