I’m sorry, Michael, but even his story didn’t do it for me. His plot structure was too transparent, his research faulty, his premise annoying and … well, I’m over the whole conspiracy stuff. (I know, I know – all very subjective but I’m being honest about my reaction.) I read the whole book, because I couldn’t quite believe that something with the hype and hoopla surrounding it, the public adoration, could be so disappointing. I kept reading hoping that I was missing something and it would get better. It didn’t.
But good luck to the man; he knew what would sell and he’s done very well out of it.
