I read just recently that a yellow rose represents cooling off of passion, love on the wane. I’m not sure that it was a reliable source. (It was a celebrity magazine. Now there’s fiction for you).
I agree that they are more likely to represent love that has turned into deep friendship. The initial ‘honeymoon’ passion that red represents is replaced by trust and genuine long lasting love and these roses are perfect for saying that. I think yellow roses are easier on the eye than all the others, much prettier than other colours. I buy flowers for myself in the summer and I always choose yellow ones. They’re so scrummy I could eat them.

By the way, someone really needs to buy flowers for Deb. Hope you get some soon Deb! 🙂
Has anybody heard of rainbow roses? We’d be all day trying to interpret these!
