A long time ago, I asked something like: What would your family do with all your notebooks, drafts, etc., if you were to die today? I think a lot of us thought OMG, but how many did anything about it, I wonder? I know I didn’t, and being as how I started the thread I probably gave it more thought than most.
I’ve got a lot of journals in the mix, and, really, my children don’t need to be burdened with what they might read there. About the only journaling (much in code) I do anymore is right here, so there’s scant recent paper they could get incensed over. There is the thought, however, waaayyyy back in my mind, that should I die FAMOUS, universities might be vying for this clutter, and what right do I have to deny it to future scholars?
