I said that I’m a great writer. I’m not embarrassed to admit it. I believe in myself and my abilities. I’m constantly learning and working to improve my craft. If I didn’t believe I had the capability to produce great writing, I would give it up and move on to something else.
This, to me, has nothing to do with pride or arrogance. It has to do with believing in yourself and what you’re capable of doing.
I think you’re all great writers. I believe in each and every person here. You wouldn’t be writing if you didn’t enjoy it and have the belief that you’ll be published one day. If you didn’t believe that, you wouldn’t still be writing. Will everybody here be published? I don’t know. I hope so! If they aren’t, does that take away from them as a person? Not at all. I love the acoustic guitar. I would love to learn how to play. But, I’m quite hopeless when it comes to reading music! Does it stop my enjoyment of the guitar or stop me from trying for the sheer enjoyment of it? Nope. It’s the same with writing.
