It amazes me how therapeutic writing is, especially when it’s personal. I keep separate note pads for personal writing and usually write free-hand. Reviewing earlier writing forced me see things about myself that I wouldn’t ordinarily have noticed, being too busy or involved in every day life, or thinking I was “like this” when I am truthfully “like that”. I realized just today after being overwhelmingly stressed with my 3 yr old grandson that I need to get back to my daily writing. Immediately.
