I hope that isn’t true, because it sounds like a fantastic idea. The short story market seems rather depressing. It was already drying up for horror/speculative when I was a kid, but there were still some decent markets like Twilight Zone, Horror Show, and others. I went to Borders the other day and was dismayed at the lack of magazines out there for this sort of fiction….I’m curious, do mags like Redbook (Stephen King published in mags like this back in the 70s) still publish good fiction? I mean, where are the markets? Zines?
