All right, so I have two protagonists, a hero and a heroine, who are equally important to the story. The novel is being written in third person view. Except for the scenes when they are separated anyway and those scenes I absolutely need to write from one particular of their viewpoints, what would you do with the scenes where there is no real reason to chose one of them over the other? Considering they are traveling together most of the time, I find I often could chose the hero’s viewpoint as well as the heroine’s. Is it better to stick with writing from the same viewpoint in those cases, throughout the story? Or rather alternate between hero and heroine to emphasize the fact they are meant to be equally important?
