Right now reading "Nightworld" by F. Paul Wilson. It's the sixth and final novel in his Adversary series, which began with "The Keep" (terrific novel, but made into a horrible movie by so-called director Michael Mann). "Nightworld" is a truly terrifying apocalyptic nightmare--it's the book King's "The Stand" could have been. If you have a really strong stomach for gut-wrenching horror, I recommend this book highly.
I met and chatted with Paul twice at ThrillerFest. He's a very amiable, soft-spoken man who continues to practice medicine while churning out terrific novels. I started reading his books when they first appeared, back in the 80's, and this must be my third time through the Adversary series.
