Hi everybody, I have a question that I believe is right for this thread.
I keep going back to this one, it just isn't setting right with me.
I said, "OK, right," while thinking, "that was distracting."
Talking while a thought is running through your mind?

Actually, if I may, there is one more line to this.

"So ...now that the introduction is out of the way, it is very nice to meet you Dr. Stone."
or is it ok to run them together like so,
I said, "OK, right," while thinking, "that was distracting." "So ...now that the introduction is out of the way, it is very nice to meet you Dr. Stone."
This right here is probably the biggest reason it isn't setting right with me.

"OK" isn't a word. "That was distracting" should not be in italics. I'd run the second sentence beginning with "So" in a second line. It has no connection with the previous line.
