help with MS Word 2010?

Hi all, I don't know if this is the right spot to ask this, or if there is a right spot to ask this...my copy of MS Word 2010 has done something to my manuscript and I can't figure out how to undo it. I can give more information if there is someone out there who might be able to help me...thanks in advance...
