100,000 words typed since last October

I am 1/10th of the way to being done with what Stephen King calls 'practice.' woot!

also i finished my 1st novel yesterday, on Easter Sunday. yay! final count: 40,888 words. 27 chapters.

i am not as accomplished/skilled as other writers on this site, but i am a very determined one.

From what I've read on the forums, your first 100,000 words are much better than mine were! I started 2 1/2 years ago, and I shudder when I read my first writings! Congrats on finishing your manuscript! Now you can sit back, enjoy the spring, and begin the (endless) revisions!! Leslie

I know your first 100,000 words were better than my first 100,000 - not just because I've read some of them, but because I wrote mine when I was less than 12-years-old

i am resting. soon i hope to start getting critiques on my finished manuscript and start doing *gulp* revisions.

i wish i had started when i was 12, too!
