This writer needs a woman...

Postby George » Wed Feb 08, 2012 6:17 pm

I wanted to share a few thoughts on this forum about what this writer needs in a woman.

The woman will be my very best friend -- complimentary when it comes to my work
She will reassure me when I feel insecure and comfort me when I'm troubled by syntax.
She will inspire me to put words together in a way that I never imagined I could.
She will enable me to give in to my muse and express my deepest emotions on paper.
She will always make me feel like I'm smart and soon will have an agent and be published.

No wait! Sorry, I was thinking about whiskey. It's whiskey that does all that stuff for me.
So never mind. George

Ahhhh, the loose tongue of the drunk. Don't you wish there was such a woman----NOT!!!! :o
Long, long afterward in an oak I found the arrow still unbroke
And the song from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend
