Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2012 is bright and full of good things for all.

I'm off work for the next week so I plan to start the year by getting my house in order and working on my stories.

My resolution/hope is that this is the year I get a picture-book published.

Thank you. Rosebud. For my birthday, hubby and I did something different, something special. It was a total surprise. We dropped in to HOSPITAL EMERGENCY for some antibiotics (I had developed another problem and my Drs office won't be open until Tues). Just needed someone to write out a prescription, but we left FOUR HOURS LATER after blood tests, injections, intravenous antibotic and saline drips, and a CT scan. We got home just after midnight to find the power out, the house cold, a rather frightened daughter (there had been a loud bang earlier), and no way to make a hot drink for any of us. What a way to start the new year, huh? Oh well, such is life. Can't win 'em all.

Sorry to hear you had such a crappy birthday Jowen. Look at it this way, it could be worse, and the rest of the year will probably go upward from here.
