Hello from Human in San Diego

Postby NdP Vince Higgins » Tue Jan 02, 2018 4:13 pm

Sixty two years old, semi-retired engineer, tool and die maker, builder of things in general. Voracious reader of science fiction until the mid eighties when the science in the genre started being replaced by magic. Now I mostly read non-fiction, or literary fiction. Huge fan of Vonnegut, who is a large influence on my style.

It is said a writer writes. I have written sporadically most of my life, but not prolifically until the last three years or so. I suppose I have some catching up to do. Much of my writing has been wasted on social media, where more and more the 'bots insure you preach to the choir.

Much of my writing involve religion and politics. I understand there is protocol on this, and other forums I have participated in, and expect to be frequenting "Take it Outside". I also use some pretty adult language, but the genres I am mostly interested in, non-fiction and literary, are about life. I do no use it to shock, but to represent real life.
