Getting serious

Postby Fictitiousname » Wed May 03, 2006 6:39 am

Hi all,
I've been writing for most of my life. Poetry, short fiction, song lyrics, novel-writing, and even technical writing which I am doing to support my creative self. I've had a poem published in Dallas, Tx in the local rag and a short story published in a company magazine and I came real close to snaring a publisher for my first novel. I don't send out anything so I haven't had anything else published.
I started a local writer's group and we share projects, constructive criticism, and support in an effort to get out there and try to publish some of our works.

Mark Twain used a fictitious name, I believe Samuel Clemens, and he did right well with it. Welcome aboard.
