Magazines Recommended For Submission?

Postby Trina_Syn » Mon Feb 05, 2007 5:27 am

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good magazines that are accepting writing submissions. Looking for something legit that can be recommended by someone who has had a good experience with it. Thank you!

If you go to your library, you can check out Writer's Digest's Writer's Market (or buy your own).  I believe there is also an online subscription.

You'll find a plethora of magazines and other publications for almost every kind of market across the country.  I bought one when I first started writing and found it an invaluable resource for sending out submissions and queries.

Pretty much all magazines are legit. Meaning they won't steal anything you send them. Which to submit to depends entirely on what you write. Try Writer's Market.

Or try one of these sites for fiction.

Thanks a ton for giving me some ideas on where to start. I will definitely check them all out.
