3 Days To Go in WriteMovies Spring Competition

Postby JohnatWrM » Thu May 26, 2016 7:33 am

Hi everyone, just a reminder that there are only 3 days to go in our grand international WriteMovies Spring competition 2016 - that's this Sunday! $49 is the entry for the competition and for what you could win, that is nothing. This is your chance to get your script on the map with guaranteed representation for the winner and we will pitch your script to one of our top industry contacts. A script is no good just sitting on the back shelf and gathering dust, but you can make it work for you. Quarter and semi-finalists also gain significant exposure on our website and newsletter, so this could prove to be your big break even if you don't win1
Check it out: http://writemovies.com/spring-2016-competition/
Thank you!

Also, an additional reminder that out Monthly competition ends tomorrow! The best scripts will receive promotion and be pitched to our industry contacts and, for both competitions, you will receive a year of free script development. Here is the link to our Monthly contest http://writemovies.com/writemovies-monthly-competition/
Thanks again!

What does a winner get for his $49?
Do you have a track record as an agent selling screenplays? If so, who are some of your well-known clients?

Prizes include a $2000 cash prize, a year of free script development (studio coverages, development notes), and guaranteed representation and promotion. We have over 500 contacts in the industry, including contacts with studios such as Universal and Warner Bros. and we also have over 400 contacts with industry talent agents. Our readers have also worked as writers and producers themselves, so they'll work closely with you to get your script ready for pitching and production.
One Academy Award nominee we discovered is Iris poop unicorns and rainbows, who wrote and produced LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA. Several others have had their scripts produced, too.
Hope this all helps.
