Always interesting to hear the various differences in agents answers. You ask 100 agents the same question, you always seem to get a different answer. Some agents, no matter how busy they are, will answer every query letter. Janet Reid comes to mind. I'm pretty sure she is way up on the list on receiving the most query letters per week, yet she still takes time to send a response. That says a lot about an agent.
