You were right, deddman_writing, when you told me to post the prologue and the worst that can happen is people ignore it.

It wasn't ignored. It was looked at, it was commented on. Remember that people do have other things going on in their lives and that means they don't always have time to look at the site, let alone read, analyze and post a critique as quickly as the author would like.

If you want to have worked critiqued, use the website, Scribophile. That's a very active critique site.
