Re: New Forum Problem: Forum Automatically Makes Duplicate T
It seems that our friendly neighborhood forum has developed a new problem in that it automatically makes a duplicate topic for new topics that you make.
...

Well ladies and germs, it looks like the Indie Author ATSO Guide will have to take a indefinite hiatus due to the afore mentioned problem.

It only happens when you keep clicking enter because it is slow posting the first one.
If you get two then just delete the text in the 2nd message if it wont let you delete the whole duplicate.

I dont see any connection with posting your guide and the duplicate message bug.

There might be a bigger problem - I've noticed that many websites I've visited today are very, very slow. So yeah, thinking it hasn't gone through because it's taking forever might be the problem. (And yeah, suddenly the post I thought was "single" earlier now seems to have sprouted siblings  )
Bumping this topic up to keep it next to it's duplicate.
Better to kill your duplicate initially.

Why not just let it fall to the bottom and be forgotten.

Dupes are caused by repeating enter before the system has finished the first posting operation.
