It might help to remember that agents aren't looking at just one query either. Nor is reading queries their only job. Sure, some have interns or assistants, but they're weeding out the queries that don't stand a chance - the rest still go to the agent for final decision. Then they have partials and fulls to read, working with their current clients, keeping up with industry trends and changes, yada yada yada.

Being a writer is a good way to learn patience. ;)
