Create Your Own Story at the Library

Postby dgford » Tue Feb 01, 2011 5:44 pm

I was invited to be a part of the National Library Campaign this year, "Create Your Own Story at the Library."  This takes place in April.  My art will be up for the entire month and stories will accompany many of my pictures.  They are covering the cost of the reception, since it is a National Campaign.

This morning I also received word that a poem I submitted was accepted and will be in print mid-February.  See letter below:

Dear Don,

It is my great pleasure to inform you that your poem “Each Flower Child” has been chosen for publication in the February issue of Four and Twenty, scheduled to release on Tuesday, February 15.

In preparation for the release of the journal, I ask that you please review our author information web page at http://docs.google.com/View?id=dckgzr9_1gchrv5tv. On the web page, you will find instructions on writing your author bio, information about titling your poem, a review of your rights as an author, and a few other important details.

After you’ve had the chance to read through the page, please send us the following by February 8:
  • Your name as you want it to appear in the journal
  • Your thirty-five word author bio
If you are a returning author, please let us know if you would like a former bio to be used.

Congratulations, once again, on having your work selected for Four and Twenty. We are ecstatic about featuring your poetry.

Sincerely,

Vinnie Kinsella

Publisher, Four and Twenty

Got your message; thank you so much.  I'm reinventing myself these days as a Writer/Artist in my Storytelling adventures.  I feel like I've lived inside a book most of my life, and now I am finally coming out if it into the real world.  I hope everyone likes what they see and hear. LOL  Cheers, Don
