Plaid uniform skirt
White long-sleeved blouse hides
individual.

Polished patio
is deadly so must wear these
ugly crepe-soled shoes.

Scanning new faces
Chose to sit at the last row
Light start I hope

Walking to a room;
sitting in another chair.
I’ve grown; the chair, not.

Take a deep breath, smile
a new beginning ahead
Same best friends always
My heart is my totem, a blackened beating taunt that soaks the Page with its prevail. Its blood becomes my ink as I stab the Pen into it. I heave forward with my hollow chest, entranced in my decay, sorry to say, that I am a writer of Darkness now.

Cigarettes in the courtyard

Librarian smiles
at me weighing "Ulysses"
whispers "go for it."

I will be myself
No more intimidation
And triumph...or not.

Nervously tripping
Stomach quickly flipping
The boys are now men

Haha. It feels like so long ago even though it was just two years. But I was extremely boy crazy during my ninth grade year, which lead to many, many mistakes because that was when they became interested in me. It took me dressing like a rainbow, second semester of sophomore year, and covering up, to finally chill the heat. But its okay, I love dressing like a rainbow. It makes me feel free and completely unique. And since I dress like the person I am inside, it allows guys to not see the plain surface, my mountained chest, but instead the real me. And this is exactly how I plan to find my prince charming. They will see a girl who pushes the dress code with her daily themes and shining colors, allowing her wild spirit to explore and be free. If they are really the one than they will fall in love with my individuality and everything that I am. Heehee. They'll be my John Smith, my sweet prince, and I will be Snow White, Pocahontas, I will be a princess. No, I will be my own princess, an original princess. I will be Hanalinia the Unicorn Princess and he will be Chadon the Spartan Prince. Heehee. And he'll wear a warrior outfit and it will be yummy. And I am sleepy, sigh. Haha. Well, you all can enjoy my little fantasy while I go dream up another one. :).
