Its no secret I love my draws
They cover all my flaws
From the front some hide my belly
You know the area that shakes like jelly
From the back it shapes my booty
They lift, they curve, giving me a boost, you see
In every color I’ve got one
pinks, blues, and shades of cerulean
Some big like my granny’s panties
They breath so warm and comfy
Some small, some barely there
They leave my buttocks bare
They seem to change my personality
Some days I’m bold, some days I’m sassy
Some days I am a princess
All laces and bows fully of prettiness
Some days I am dominatrix
Black leather and latex makes him do tricks
Oh yes I love my draws
I love them just because……

Lost beneath a pile of something.
Never to be found again.
A favorite of mine.
Not once torn.
Loose at my waist.
Drug under my heels.
Never to be found.
They are lost beneath pile of something.
I have to find them again.
They are my very favorite.
Long, loose, but fitting.
They do not sag.
They do not squeeze.
They are mine, all mine.
I’m a bit paranoid about them.
Has someone taken them?
Was it you?
Well? WAS IT?!
Oh, there they are.
They were lost beneath a pile of something.
:o

Oh little scraps of
cloth, leather, twine
to you I owe my most
heartfelt whine!

You dazzle and tempt me
with a window's stare
the color and shape
such a marvelous pair.

The dream of you
upon my feet
my heart starts racing
I take the leap.

Into the store
with "I'll try those on"
a flash in the mirror
seals the con

As I strut my stuff
in an all night long
my feet complain
"You've done me wrong!"

Tale of the Lounging Trousers

I’ll tell about my favorite pair of lounging trousers,
Long-legged they are, made especially for travelers.

No belt loops or elastic casings here,
Drawstrings only, for that I loudly cheer.

Multi-colored stripes traversing south to north,
Red, black, white and yellow, back and forth.

They’ve undergone drastic changes…from oh so tight,
To appear once again very loose and light.

Old Navy is the featured brand,
Fit as the proverbial fiddle, and oh so grand.

Textiles: wool, silk, linen or cotton…
The last being my choice to wear from toes to chin.

These pants first came to me from here or there,
FL Goodwill, with a tag attached naming me heir.

On the washboard, pinned to the line flapping in the breeze,
All for the sake of being packed away in my new valise.

Airport luggage for 20, stacked on high ready to load,
Off to Central America and headed for our jungle abode.

Hola, seniorita…you like these beautiful trousers?
I love them dearly, but they are no longer for travelers.

OK, this is like. It's bouncy and upbeat with nice rhyming; very good. sDt I put this in the wrong place, it was meant to reply to someone else's work!

Stretchy, stretchy underwear
White Cherokee underwear
Elastic, fibrous underwear
Generic, machine-made underwear
Gooey, hempy underwear
Lonely, printed underwear
Foldy, moldy underwear

When I eat my breakfast
I always put on my underwear
When I go to bed
I always put on my underwear
When I put my pants on
I always put on my underwear
When I go on my computer
I always put on my underwear

What would I do without my Cherokee underwear?
What would I do without my stretchy, stretchy,
White Cherokee, elastic, fibrous
Generic, machine-made, gooey, hempy
Lonely, printed, foldy, moldy underwear?

No woolen cap to warm my head
My wispy hair uncovered
No shoes to guard my callused feet
Bruised as the eyes of lovers

A window open, a day revealed
These frames of my little world
And though I try to run from it
Reality lies in my curls

Wrapped around ears stained pink
Set on my father's nose
Liking to a piece of me
For where I am, it goes

Let them see these works of art
I proudly bear before me
Let them see what hope remains
In a heart that's learned to see

The emblem of my Renaissance
The symbol of what passes
Everything I need to see
I see through truthful glasses

Like the wicked witches’ mirror
My entire face transfigured
Big hair, no hair, crappy hair, no matter
When I don my cap of Irish pattern

A chin appears and lo, a neck!
Eyes dance with enchanted effect
The elusive dimple doth appear
And there’s no poking out of an ear

Browns and blacks, no weavers’ error
Distracts from how it frames the wearer
A magic cap designed to flatter
Heads of state or lowly slattern

My Gaelic wool it does protect
Through the countless storms where we trek
Across many lifetimes, far and near
Together we’ll go into the last frontier

Burn me, bury me, cast me adrift
What you do with my body doesn’t matter a bit
But whatever you do, my cap comes along with
Cause wherever I go, it gets me a kiss

This isn't appearing where I expected it to. This is for Emerald Gypsy.

That's really good - concise but really conveys the excitement of buying the shoes that are so pretty and hurt so bad! :)

Your Favorite Piece of Clothing - 2/23

Postby k.oak » Tue Jul 27, 2010 10:22 pm

MY FAVORITE GARMENT IS A DRESS

My ultimate favorite garment is a dress
You wouldn't think it to look at me

Feminine I am not
Actually, I usually wear pants.
Very utilitarian in nature, an
Observer could accurately say I
Really don't have a job right now.
In fact,
That is why my dress is being worn into
Extinction

Great expectations were what I had when I was first
Arrayed in my dress-of-many-colors
Recently
Moved to Texas, I had
Escaped to Houston for the Fabulous Quilt Show
Never dreaming
That

I would meet its
Shining tie-dyed beauty.

Mingled among many others
Yearning for bold quilters to take them home.

Dreams in a multi-colored rainbow
Rippling in gradients I had never
Ever
Seen before under the Texas
Sky.
,
Alas, we've grown older, worn by life and faded together.

Perhaps symbolically, I still hold onto it
Old as it is, it still
Enevelopes
My dreams.

(PS - just got told - this is an ACROSTIC poem)
