Adding a graphic image to your signature line

Postby Brian » Thu Mar 06, 2008 5:50 am

1) Find an image you like whether it's on your own website or anywhere on the internet. For courtesy's sake, please make sure is is fairly small. Half the size of a credit card is probably as large as you want to go.

2) Move your mouse over the picture and click the right mouse button one time.

3) Scroll down the list that pops up to "Copy Image Location" and click once with the left button.

4) Open your "My Profile" page in the "WD" Forum (in the upper right corner). A little more than halfway down the page is the section where you can type in your own signature.

5) In this box, (following where you want the image to show up) type an open bracket ( [ ) and then this code:

img=

Without hitting the space bar, enter or anything else, press Ctrl-V at the same time (Cmnd/Apple-V on Macs). Your line after the open bracket should now look like something like this:

img=http://www.whereIgotmypicture.com

If it does, great! put a close bracket ( ] )on the end and hit submit at the bottom of the page.

Congratulations! You're done!
