Asking for more information

Postby KnightWriter » Sat May 10, 2014 7:44 am

If a magazine or journal is unclear about their guidelines and provides a contact should we require more information, when I ask for details...Should I format that "question" as a query letter or just come out and ask without any of the formalities of a standard query letter?

if they don't provide the info you need to draft your query letter properly, then just call or email and ask for whatever details you need spelled out... writing a query to ask how to write a query wouldn't make much sense...

You know...I didn't think of it like that. Now I realize that was a completely green horn question. My bad. Thanks for that though mamma! Once again, you offer the best advice. It's the American Journal of Nursing, and they kinda had a discrepancy as far as patient confidentiality from one page to another.
