Credit to whom? If they just gave you a title then there's no need to give credit. The writing is yours. If you must, you could always change the title.

I've entered contests and submitted the resulting stories. In the case(s) where a first sentence was supplied, I changed the first sentence; I'd do the same thing with a title. Other than something directly taken from the writing of others, go ahead and submit it.

I recently entered a contest to finish a Shirley Jackson story. I think a wrote a couple thousand words, but there is nothing I can do with this, as the beginning is all Ms. Jackson.

Titles can't be copyrighted, so there's no problem. You could keep it or change it, as you wish. As Terry says, the writing is yours.
