What to include in a Bibliography

Hi. If I see a research study or an article referenced in a book (I'll call it Book A) that I want to discuss in my book, do I need to cite both the original study and Book A in my bibliography or do I just need to cite the original study only? This research study/article was not written by the author of Book A, it was written by another party and was simply mentioned in their book. I will not be using any other information from Book A but since Book A led me to the research study that I needed, I didn't know whether I needed to give them any credit or not.
Thank You for any help that you can give!

Simple answer: list both of them.

Yeah, that' s what I'm thinking. I don't think I can go wrong by listing both sources. Thank you!
